I was always unsure of the vibe here and even after going I don't think I really got a comprehensive understanding. It seems like there is a cafe portion and then a more sit down service area. The area for table service was closed up for the day so I really only got to see the cafe side in all its glory. It was very cute! A few tables which seemed like a nice atmosphere if you wanted to work from a coffee shop. Technically this seems to be a Brazilian spot. I ordered a smoothie and it was very yummy! I have heard that brunch here is solid as well so maybe I'll make it one of these days.

4.25 stars Brunch review Large menu with plenty of vegan, gluten-free options. The quinoa bowl was delicious and the poached eggs on top were perfect. Portions are large. Service was quick and what is nice is that you don't feel rushed while eating your meal We strongly recommend if you're in the area

I absolutely love this restaurant! I find myself ordering the same thing every time because it's just that good. Their pão de queijo is the best I've ever had--crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The Brazilian breakfast is an absolutely delicious. Even though I'm not usually a fan of beans, their version blew me away, served with baked eggs and avocado. They also offer plenty of healthy options. The açaí bowl and smoothies are fantastic choices--you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommended!

I lovvveeee this place! I wish they served coxhinas during breakfast as well. I have no more complaints as everything else is wonderful. The smoothies, the cocktails.

At Pitango in Bushwick, the açaí bowl arrives as a vibrant mosaic of textures and flavors. The deep purple açaí base, rich and velvety, serves as a canvas for a generous crumble of granola, its golden pieces catching the light like sunlit leaves. A ribbon of almond butter, both earthy and indulgent, drapes across the surface with the casual elegance of a Mies van der Rohe curve. Sliced bananas, arranged in a crescent moon formation, add a touch of natural sweetness and visual appeal. This bowl is more than just a breakfast item; it's a dessert masquerading as a morning treat. The combination of açaí, almond butter, granola, and bananas creates a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that satisfy both the palate and the eye. Beyond its delightful taste, the açaí bowl offers several health benefits. Açaí berries are rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins, which have been linked to improved heart health and cognitive function. They also contain healthy fats and fiber, contributing to overall well-being. I ordered my açaí bowl from Pitango through Uber Eats, and the delivery service was impressively nimble and efficient. The bowl arrived intact and precisely as advertised, preserving its artful presentation despite the journey. As I savored each bite, I couldn't help but wish I had taken the bus to experience the café in person--the ambiance and freshly assembled creation might have elevated an already delightful treat.

As someone who grew up in SoCal and now lives in New York, an açaí bowl is something I continuously crave - this spot always satisfies! I subbed the almond butter for PB. 10/10!

Pitanga was a Brazilian treat for this Portuguese soul. My heart instantly skipped a beat when I noticed all the Brazilian specialities on the menu from Brazilian coffee, breakfast, and pastries. We started with two large cold brews (less ice) with almond and oat milk. The coffee was a good strong flavored cup of joe! The Pao de Queijo was HUGE, which was surprising because I'm used to the small bites. It was great to share amongst two people as a starter or pallet opener. It was such a beautiful day for late October that we preferred outside patio service/seating. We ordered the Avocado Toast and Eggs and Chicken Sandwich (chipotle mayo on side). We decided to share so we could both taste the deliciousness...both very filling solo or shared. I highly recommend the yuca fries with the Chicken Sandwich. If that's not your cup of tea...other offerings were sweet potato fries or regular. I look forward to returning to try one of the bowls and other menu items. Beijos!

A friend and I came in for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. We sat on their cute patio to enjoy the fall day. We had the Sesame Ginger Quinoa Salad and the Eggs & Avocado toast. We also had their espresso martini and a vodka drink whose name escapes me. Their drinks are well balanced and tasty! We both enjoyed our food as well. Our server was friendly and quick; definitely recommend for a Brunch!
